Our new Speech and Drama/Forensics team attended the Student Congress Jamboree in Parsons tonight. They learned how to compete in Congressional debate over various proposed laws and resolutions. Our first real competition will be next week! Very proud of these three for getting out of their comfort zone and giving speeches on the fly!!
Additionally, Sekani Murphy placed 7th in his House and medaled!

Our Esports Team completed their season tonight! Rocket League swept 3-0 against Jefferson West and Mario Kart swept 2-0 against Wellington High School! That brings both teams back to an even score of 3 wins and 3 losses for our first official season. Way to go, Vikings!! We are so proud of you and Coach Ryan Gath!!
A big thank you to Hailie Feagan for creating care bags for our young ladies in the Junior High and High school. This was her Girl Scouts gold award project. She did a tremendous job and we're very thankful to her for doing this. Go Vikings!!
Just an update from the Tony Dubray Tournament!
All games will be played tomorrow, Friday, January 23rd!! The Northeast Girls will play for third place tomorrow night at 6:30 pm! Our boys play tonight against Thomas Jefferson. If the boys win, they will play tomorrow night at 6:30 pm in the Championship Game! If the boys lose, they will play at 3:30 pm tomorrow afternoon for third place.
The Northeast High School Basketball Teams will travel to Altoona on Tuesday, January 27th!

One core aspect of culinary education is mastering fundamental cooking techniques, and food science. Not to mention an elaborate display of trial and error makes for successful students in the kitchen!
Culinary Arts I embraced that aspect and succeed with making our own mozzarella for lasagna next week!
