Junior high and high school events for next week.

The Lady Vikings traveled to Chetopa tonight and went 2-1 on the evening! The Lady Vikings defeated Chetopa 25-10, 25-15 and defeated St. Paul 25-22, 25-22. They fell to Galena 16-25, 18-25. Great job, Lady Vikings!
Freshman, Allison McCarley medaled in her first ever high school cross country race tonight at Anderson County! Allison placed 11th(3.1 miles) in the JV girls race this evening. Jade Bush placed 18th and was barely out of the medals.
Kale Nunn ran a great race and placed 31st overall in the JV boy's race.

Ayriel Dohle is our 8th grade September student of the month. Her teachers feel she is always honest, hard working, respectful and responsible. She has now won this award multiple times. Her favorite subject in school is math and her future plans are to become a chiropractor. Congrats Ayriel! Viking nation is proud of you!

Our 7th grade teacher voted student of my month is Abigail Tomasi. Abigail is now a two time winner of this award. She consistently displays Honesty, Hard work, Respectful behavior and responsibility. Abigail loves all her subjects in school. At this point Abbie just wants to get a job and work when she is older. Congrats!

Congratulations to our 6th grade student of the month Hannah Allen. Each day Hannah displays ask our Viking Virtues of being Honest, Hard Working, Respectful and Responsible. Her future plans are to become a PE teacher and cheer coach!

Congratulations to Senior Destiny Hagan on 1000 career Digs!! We are so very proud of you!


The Lady Vikings Volleyball Team fell to Yates Center in three sets tonight 25-19, 19-25, 20-25 and then defeated Southeast in two sets 25-18, 25-21. Nice job, Lady Vikings!
The Elementary will be celebrating Grandparents Day on Sept. 9th at 2:00pm. AM preschool will welcome guests at 10:15. Please fill out the form so we can be sure we have enough cookies for everyone.
