The Northeast High School is currently looking for a Secretary!

Overview: The High School secretary, under the supervision of the Building Principal, must perform a variety of duties requiring a detailed knowledge of the High School and district procedures and policies including, but not limited to, attendance, budget, and clerical. Additionally the High School secretary will act as a liaison between the Principal and staff, students, parents and community members.
The start date for this position is August 1, 2026.
Weekly/Daily schedule: 7:15-4:15 Daily (4 days a week) (Based on School calendar)
12 Month Contract
**Overtime will need to be worked on weeks we attend school 5 days (Snow make up days, etc)

This year VIP has planned something special for NJH and NES students! NHS students will be helping our junior high and elementary Vikings make their own spirit gear!! Students will place their orders in advance then join our high school VIPs to see their gear being made first hand.
Information on designs, sizes and prices are attached. You will note the greatly reduced prices on these shirts. Your Viking will choose a shirt color based on supply on hand in their size. We will ensure we have adequate quantities in the correct sizes based on pre-orders. Please direct any questions to Reneé Popejoy at rpopejoy@usd246.org.
Order forms will be going home Tuesday, April 14. Deadline for orders is Thursday, April 16!! We greatly apologize for the turn around on these. We will still accept orders until Friday, April 17 if necessary!!
The baseball and softball games with Yates Center are canceled and will not be made up.
Free Summer Enrichment program for Current 5th-8th graders!!! Transportation options are available for any student interested.
The Riverton High School Track & Field Meet has been moved up an hour in order to try and beat the storms.

The Northeast Baseball Team split with Oswego tonight! The Vikings defeated Oswego 15-3 in game one and fell to them in game two, 6-16. The Vikings are currently 4-8 on the season! Nice win tonight, Vikings!
The Lady Vikings move to 10-0 after sweeping Oswego tonight! The Lady Vikings beat Oswego 12-1 in game one and 6-4 in game two. Great job, Lady Vikings!
