Today was a tough State Cross Country Meet for Spencer Wade. Conditions were extremely wet, rainy, muddy and slick in Wamego. Spencer slipped and fell down four times during the race due to the wet and muddy conditions. It was a tough way to end his cross country season but what an extremely successful cross country career he has had. Northeast is so very proud of you, Spencer!

Junior High Announcement: There will be no Junior HIgh Cheer practice today,...Friday November 1st.
The high school situation has been resolved and we are back to a normal school day.
The high school has a student medical situation this morning. Ambulance and fire will be at the school for assistance. There is no threat to kids as they remain in classrooms until it is resolved.
Proceeds will go towards the 8th grade class. Go Vikings!
Tonight and tomorrow the High School's Senior Class are hosting their annual spook house! We will be open from 5 PM until 9 PM with only $5 per person entry fee. This will be in the old gym of the High School.

A HUGE thank you to Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union for donating some much needed supplies today to our Junior High. Things such as pencils, paper, wipes, sanitizer, Kleenex, etc. A special thank you to Madison Fosha and Kailee Ramsey for dropping them off to us!
The Varsity Scholars Bowl Team will compete at Girard at 4:00 pm today.
The Northeast Junior High cheer team went to Haysville on Saturday for the Sunflower Spirit Showcase. The came home with 2 excellent ribbons. They were 1st in stunting and 2nd in performance. Go Vikings!
The Lady Vikings Volleyball Team finished their season today at Sedgwick in the Class 2A Sub-State. The Lady Vikings fell to Sedgwick 25-11, 25-16.

The Northeast High School Football Team will travel to Yates Center on Thursday, October 31st for a 7:00 pm kickoff!

8th grader Chase Ballard went up one full grade level in math and ELA in the first 9 weeks of school. Great job young man!!!
