Mrs. Yantis and Mr. Sigmon took 12 students to the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library for the White House Decision Center. Students had a great day doing a simulation of President Truman’s Cabinet set in 1948!

Our District mock election is underway. This project required students to learn the election process, research candidates, register to vote and today.. they get to let their voices be heard!

The NHS chess team took third place at this weekend's tournament in Cherryvale. Kannon Lofts received a top placement medal.
Today was a tough State Cross Country Meet for Spencer Wade. Conditions were extremely wet, rainy, muddy and slick in Wamego. Spencer slipped and fell down four times during the race due to the wet and muddy conditions. It was a tough way to end his cross country season but what an extremely successful cross country career he has had. Northeast is so very proud of you, Spencer!
A Huge Thank You to our Northeast Elementary, Junior High and High School Students and Staff for the awesome Send Off for Spencer to the 2A State Cross Country Meet! Spencer will run at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 2nd!
