The Lady Vikings Varsity Volleyball Team swept tonight! The Lady Vikings defeated Marmaton Valley 25-12, 25-16 and defeated Pleasanton 25-14, 25-13. Way to go, Lady Vikings!! The Lady Vikings are 12-5 on the season!

The Northeast Lady Vikings Varsity Volleyball Team took third place at the Oswego Tournament today! The ladies defeated St. Paul 25-21, 25-21; they defeated Cherryvale 25-22, 19-25, 25-22; they defeated Chetopa 25-12, 25-12; they defeated West Elk 25-19, 22-25, 25-17. They fell to Galena 25-23, 13-25, 11-25; they also fell to Caney Valley 20-25, 16-25. What a great day of volleyball for our Lady Vikings! The Lady Vikings are currently 10-5 on the season! Come out and watch them play at home on Tuesday, September 23rd at 5:00 pm! They are a lot of fun to watch!

Students were provided information about our upcoming strategic plan yesterday. And today they had an opportunity to provide input/feedback through a student survey. These students all had at least 1 FULL LEVEL OF GROWTH (There are 4 total levels) on the Spring 2025 KSDE state assessments. This is a HUGE accomplishment. The Northeast High School Cross Country Team went to the first Annual Oswego Cross Country Meet tonight! We took four athletes and all four athletes brought home a medal! JV Girls: Allison McCarley 1st Jade Bush 3rd Payton Castoe 8th JV Boys: Kale Nunn 5th I am so beyond proud of these four runners! Their work ethic, dedication and determination is incredible! Great job, Vikings!
