Superintendent, Dr. Streeter and HS Principal, Mr. Cramer are spending the afternoon with perspective teachers at Pittsburg State University Education Fair! Not only are they in full recruitment mode, it's always a pleasure to talk Northeast with future teachers! Go Vikings!

Football Theme Night! Kickoff is set for 6:30 pm!

Due to the weather forecast for Friday, we are moving our football game with Cedar Vale/Dexter to Thursday, October 23rd! Kickoff is set for 6:30 pm with Senior/Parent Night beginning at 6:00 pm.

NEYF recognition this Friday. NEYF students will be free admission and recognized at halftime.

HOSA and our Junior Class will be putting on this years Spook House and Trunk or Treat this at the end of the month! Admission to the Spook House will be $5. Please see the attached flyer for dates and times, and Happy Halloween!

Attention! We have a time change for our varsity football game on Friday, October 24th! Senior/Parent Night will begin at 6:00 pm with kickoff set for 6:30 pm!

Vikings are learning and showcasing their leadership skills and exploring the world of educating youth! Nine prospective educators were sent to the Kansas Future Teacher Academy to hopefully grow their passions! Those students are... Northeast Chess team competed in Columbus. All players placed in the top 25. Hunters Jones led the team with three wins. The team placed third.

The Lady Vikings Volleyball Team ends their season tonight by falling to Classical School of Wichita, Oswego and Leon-Bluestem. The Lady Vikings had an incredible season with an overall record of 22-13. We are so proud of our Lady Vikings!

USD#246 will be having their community open forum on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd at the Mulberry Senior Citizens Center starting at 5:30pm. Your voice matters! Please come attend and participate--thank you!

Friday, October 24th, the Northeast High School Football Team will play host to Cedar Vale/Dexter for Senior/Parent Night! Senior/Parent Night will take place at 6:30! Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm!

Here are the USD#246 JH/HS scheduled events for next week--have a great weekend! GO VIKINGS!

If your child will be attending the Junior High Dance this evening, drop-off and pick-up will take place on Washington Street (the one-way) Dance will be held in the gymnasium and will begin at 6:30 PM. All rides must arrive no later than 9:05. Thank you for your cooperation.
