The Lady Vikings defeated Pleasanton 25-17, 25-10 in the first round of the 2A Volleyball Sub-State at Erie. The Lady Vikings fell to SMC in the semi finals. Great season, Lady Vikings!

Congratulations to Sophomore Spencer Wade on qualifying for the 2A State Cross Country Meet in Wamego next weekend!

There was an incident at the Junior High this week where a student made a statement that was in violation of our safe schools policies. The appropriate personnel have been notified (including law enforcement) and the situation is being handled accordingly. We want to assure parents that your students were never in any danger and are safe and school is in normal operation.

13 NE JH students have already improved their math abilities by 1 full grade level on IXL. This is awesome! Congrats to AnnaSophia, Jordan, Korbin, Dominic, Camryn S, Cameron G, Hailey, Adrienne, Sekani, Holly, Peyton, Isaac and Maddison. Maddison improved 2 full grade levels.


The Northeast Cross Country Team will travel to Richmond Central Heights for the 2A Regional Cross Country Meet on Saturday, October 22nd.

The Northeast Football Team will travel to Southeast on Friday, October 21st for a 7:00 pm kickoff!

The Northeast Volleyball Team will play Pleasanton in the first round of the 2A Sub-State Volleyball Tournament in Erie on Saturday, October 22nd at approximately 2:45 pm.

The Lady Vikings split tonight. The Lady Vikings fell to MdCV 8-25, 21-25 and defeated Marmaton Valley 25-20, 19-25, 25-15.
The Lady Vikings finish their regular season at 16-19. Sub-State seedings will be posted on Wednesday, October 19th.

Congratulations to our Lady Vikings on two big wins for Senior/Parent Night! The Lady Vikings defeated Miami R1 27-25, 25-16 and also defeated Bronaugh 25-11, 25-10! Great job, Lady Vikings!

The October Spotlight of the month for the high school is Melissa Bolton. The students were surveyed asking who they would like the October Spotlight to be. Melissa always has a smile at the front desk and does so much for the students of Northeast high school. We will be displaying a high school employee each month.
